As one of its co-organizers I feel duty-bound to alert those interested to the inaugural Empirical Legal Studies Conference, which will be held at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, on Friday 27–Saturday 28 October 2006. The conference will feature presentations of original empirical legal scholarship by leading scholars from a diverse range of fields. More info is found here (links for this and other upcoming conferences are located under the title "Conferences" on this blog's right column).
The Empirical Legal Studies Conference is jointly organized by Cornell Law School, NYU School of Law, and the University of Texas Law School. For those who like to really plan ahead, the 2007 and 2008 conferences will be held at New York University School of Law and Cornell Law School, respectively.
