In addition to Jason's observations (and recap), over at the Conglomerate blog, Christine Hurt (Marquette/Illinois) has posted some thoughts (here and here) on the recently completed Empirical Scholarship Workshop. By all accounts political scientists Lee Epstein (Wash U./Northwestern) and Andrew Martin (Wash U.) -- both future ELS guest bloggers -- run a great program consciously designed to help law profs and legal scholars transition into empirical scholarship.
