This week's guest blogger is Rebecca Sandefur, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Stanford University. Becky received her B.A. form the University of Wisconsin and her Ph.D from the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on the intersection between the sociology of law and the study of inequality. She co-authored Urban Lawyers: The New Social Structure of the Bar, and will be presenting a paper titled Lawyer, Nonlawyer and Pro Se Representation and Trial and Hearing Outcomes.
