Tim Wu, a former Posner clerk now teaching at Columbia, and
Stuart Sierra, a Columbia Law web designer, have just announced the “grand
opening” of Project Posner, a
website with the stated purpose of making Judge Posner’s opinions more widely
available. It contains his opinions from 1981 to 2006, minus the most recent
ones. The opinions are searchable.
At the moment, Project Posner does not have audio files of oral arguments, which is too
bad since Judge Posner is very active during them. The Seventh Circuit does a good job of making oral argument files available on its own website,* but it would be helpful to have all of
Posner’s cases organized together and all of the files in the same format.
*Last I checked, the Ninth Circuit is the only other circuit that posts audio files of oral arguments on the web.
UPDATE: The Federal Circuit now posts oral arguments on its website too.
Thanks for the update about the Federal Circuit.

To add another court ... the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, http://www.fedcir.gov/, has been posting oral argument audio files on its website since January 2006.
