I appreciate the invitation to participate in the ELS blog.  As Jason mentioned, my empirical background is in psychology, so I’ll try to highlight a number of insights from work in that field that inform empirical – and experimental – legal studies, as well as point to some interesting ongoing work in psychology and law.  I’ll also mention a few methodological issues I think get neglected sometimes in our ELS discussion, hoping to expand the empirical approach we take to such study. And if I haven’t yet bored everyone by then, I’ll try to come up with other ELS bits as well.  Thanks again!
