Chris Zorn has asked us to post the following announcement:
The Department of Politics and International Relations at Oxford University will be offering a special Spring School course, June 18-20, 2007. The title of the course is "An Introduction to Event History Analysis," and the course will be immediately preceded by a "Crash Course in Stata."
The deadline for registration is May 18, 2007. Details on the course can be found at here. Note that the registration fees vary slightly as a function of whether or not a participant's institution is an ECPR member. Many U.S. institutions are; check with members of your political science department if you're not sure.
Seems like a nice way to combine business with pleasure.
Boost your career
Taking courses online is also a great way to be able to do the class work on your own time rather than have time obligations and requirements for each course. It is now possible to have a fully booked life and go to school with ease. Also, you will want to consider all the money in gas you would be saving by not having to commute to school on a daily basis………….
