US Courts of Appeals Database Update

Susan Haire (U of Georgia) and Ashlyn Kuersten (Western Michigan) have just released the update (1997-2002) to Don Songer's original US Courts of Appeals Databases (1925-1996).  Thanks to Kirk Randazzo (U of Kentucky), the database in SPSS, STATA and SAS formats can be downloaded through the Ulmer Project's website at:  http://www.as.uky.edu/polisci/ulmerproject/appctdata.htm

Also at the Ulmer Project's website can be found the updated version of the documentation, information on weighting cases by circuit and the most updated version of the Appeals Court Judgelist (which includes the most recent judge code information).
