The Third Annual Conference on Empirical Legal Studies will be held at the Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York, on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2008. The meeting is the annual conference for the newly-created Society for Empirical Legal Studies (SELS). It will feature original empirical and experimental legal scholarship by leading scholars from a diverse range of fields.
This year's conference is jointly organized by Cornell Law School, NYU School of Law, and the University of Texas School of Law. The conference organizers welcome submissions of papers in all areas of empirical and experimental legal scholarship. Paper submissions should be sent no later than April 15, 2008.

All are welcome to register for and attend the conference whether or not you submit a paper and whether or not your paper is accepted into the conference.
