A long-time Els blog reader, Elizabeth Mertz (Wisc./ABF), asked me to pass along the following information about an ABF Fellowship opportunity (sponsored jointly with AccessLex Institute). I am happy to do so.
"We are writing to spread the word about a special opportunity at the American Bar Foundation, offered jointly with the AccessLex Institute. We have funding for a researcher who is currently a candidate for an LLM, SJD, or PhD -- and who is doing empirical, interdisciplinary research on legal education or on legal aspects of higher education. The baseline funding is for a fellowship of $35,000 a year, extendable up to 2 years, to be held in residence at the ABF in Chicago. (Additional funding for relocation to Chicago, and for research and travel to conferences is available as well.) Please circulate this to any colleagues who might be interested -- or who might have students who could apply."
Anyone interested in further information should directly contact: Jothie Rajah ([email protected]), Laura Beth Nielsen ([email protected]), or Elizabeth Mertz ([email protected]).
